Same great festival, all online!
A pandemic will not stop us from singing! Our annual festival will take place in March 2021. Students will submit a video of themselves performing and will receive written feedback from a panel of three voice teachers. All performers will also receive a certificate and scholarships will be awarded to singers who place first in their class. On Sunday, March 21 we will host our annual awards concert with a YouTube watch party.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE FEBRUARY 3, 2021 AT 6:00 PM
NEW for 2021 Non-competitive musical theatre classes for singers 10 & under and 13 & under
Prior to registration all singers are asked to review the 2021 Songfest Class Lists and Regulations and 2021 Songfest Requirements.
Students may enter two classes only: one from Classes I-XVI and one from Classes XVII-XXI.
No substitution of repertoire after the deadline; substitution at event will result in disqualification from placement.
Students are encouraged to hire local pianists to create accompaniment tracks for use during their video performances.

Songfest 2021 Registration Now Open
Registration forms, media release and payment can be submitted anytime prior to February 3, 2021 at 6:00 pm. They can be completed online, emailed to calgarynats@gmail.com, or mailed to the address on the registration form.
Registration fees are $35.00 for students of NATS Southern Alberta members and $50.00 for students of Non-NATS Southern Alberta members. Payment can be made by cheque or through PayPal.
VIDEO SUBMISSION
Video Submissions will be due by March 11, 2021 at 6:00 pm.
We will be using Flipgrid to share our Songfest videos. You will need a group code to upload your videos. Complete video upload instructions and group codes will be sent after registration closes on February 3rd.
